New participants in the global security forum have been announced
The list of countries that will be represented by delegations at the 10th international meeting of high-ranking security officials from June 18-20 in Ufa has been completed, including for island states of Oceania.
Such information was given in an interview to Rossijska Gazeta, deputy secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Aleksander Wieniediktow. He emphasized that "wide geographical coverage" is one of the unique features of these meetings. Last year, representatives of 118 countries met in Sochi, including over 50 high-level officials.
- Guests come from the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Latin America and even from island countries of Oceania. For example, this year's forum will be attended by Cape Verde, Eswatini, East Timor, Nauru, Comoros, Sierra Leone, Maldives and many other countries for the first time - all cannot be mentioned at once - said Wieniediktow.
Meetings of high-ranking security officials are held every year on the initiative of the Security Council of Russia in one of the Russian cities. The forum in Ufa will be attended by secretaries of security councils, ministers, advisors to presidents and prime ministers on national security, heads of secret services. The work of the Russian delegation will be headed by the secretary of the Security Council of Russia Nikolai Patruszew.
